We were lucky to visit Sikkim st the start of the festive season in December when the streets  were draped in lights. Christmas trees and carnivals, bakeries flush with warm coffee and exotic cakes and everybody was out shopping or celebrating. Blueberry Trails took us from homestays to rustic villages where we woke up to pristine, foggy valleys and hot tea, had to our fill home-made beer and jams, took impromptu treks through hidden lands, warmed our hands on bonfires, to city streets where we ate never heard of desserts, shopped till we dropped and danced with the locals on Christmas parade.A truly memorable trip..
