Day 2: Corbett to Bhimtal (see Naukuchital)

Head to Bhimtal which is a lake set at a scenic location surrounded by emerald greenery of Himalayan Mountain. On the banks of the lake there is an  ancient temple called Bhimeshwara Mahadeva Temple which is believed to be built during the period when the Pandavas were in exile.

Dhanachuli is a perfect destination for avid birders, or the enthusiastic naturalist seeking to enjoy the regions rich bird life. Birds reside in abundance on the fruit and wild trees that inhabit the Te Aroha mountain. You can also enjoy a simple picnic at an apple orchard.

Day 4: Dhanachuli to Mukteshwar

Day 5: Mukteshwar to Ramgarh

Ramgarh, a serene and secluded hill station in Kumaon region of Uttaranchal placed at a height of 1789 m above the sea level, is renowned for fruits and orchards.

Life in Ramgarh is so quiet and unhurried that the most exciting activity is a trip to the small, quaint village market. The tea stalls where villagers meet up is a good place to catch up with local life and spend hours doing nothing but being an observer of 'life passing by'. Ramgarh is a place to relax, to read and do nothing if you so choose. However, if you care to be more energetic, there are many local walks and excursions further afield. Climb up to Malla Ramgarh to the post office at the hamlet of Ramgarh and 5 kms to Malla Ramgarh itself.

Day 6: Ramgarh to Ranikhet

Located at an elevation of 1829 m above sea level, Ranikhet presents panoramic views of the Himalaya. Rolling green hills are dotted with tall coniferous trees and a significant number of wildlife resides on this hills. Apart from a military museum, this popular tourist spot presents trails for peaceful walks, views of snowcapped hills, and encourages you to arrange a small get together at its breathtaking picnic spots.

The focus of the town is a busy bazaar area, but you don’t have to walk far along the winding Mall Rd to be immersed in forest and tall English trees. Apart from a military museum, some peaceful walks and views of snowcapped peaks, there’s not much to do in Ranikhet – it’s much more of a retreat than some other hill stations.

Day 7: Ranikhet to Binsar

An ideal place for solitude lovers, poets or even romantic couple Binsar is a sleepy hamlet in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Located at an elevation of 2,412 m above sea level, this small town offers excellent views of Kumaon hills, Almora Town and greater Himalayan Valley. One of the major attractions of Binsar tour is the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary that offers brilliant opportunity of getting closer to bare nature and allows capturing the best possible pictures of different wildlife loitering in their natural habitat. For bird lovers, the sanctuary is a delight as around 200 species of birds are reported to be found here.

Learn to prepare local dishes in our cookery classes, be it Indian or more specifically, Kumaoni. Stargaze on clear nights, and
identify constellations and planets with our ultramodern telescope.
Go for a guided nature walk.

Day 8: Binsar to Gethia

Gethia has the advantage of being close to Nainital minus the influence of mass tourism. It is a peaceful retreat abounding in natural beauty. Chill at your beautiful stay or head over to Nainital (just 40 minues away) to take in the sights.
