This charming town located 4300ft above sea level, is a gorgeous destination, albeit a 5 hour drive from the city. The home of the most premier boarding schools near the city, this small town goes abuzz in the weekends. But it still retains its charm. There is no jostling with crowds here and the locals go about in their relaxed way of life. A wonderful bakery to catch some tea and burgers, or just a good old fashioned muffin. A strawberry farm tour should not be missed in the non monsoon months and a stay overlooking the Krishna Valley will add to the charm of your time in here.
Your stay is a Heritage cottage which boasts of old school architecture and offers wonderful views. Rooms on twin and triple sharing are available and its not very rare to wake up amidst clouds. Not too far from the main market and not too close, the whole trip is a perfect blend of adventure and leisure.
